Those who protect cats also need protection.

In Tai O, there is a woman named German.

For years, she has dedicated herself to educating the public on how to protect community cats and has called on volunteers to protect the "Tai O Stray Cat Home"—arranging sterilization and veterinary care for stray cats, finding resources, and recruiting volunteers. But cat shelters are never easy to run. Funding problems, manpower shortages, and the daily pressure of facing elderly or injured stray cats almost overwhelmed her. During that time, her physical and emotional health both began to show warning signs.

It was at this low point that exercise became her outlet.

Starting from scratch with running, gradually building a training habit, and organizing running events to gather like-minded people, German learned to "recharge" herself through exercise, and then, with this positive energy, faced every challenge at the cat sanctuary.

A person who almost had an amputation decided to compete.

German shared that she initially wanted to sign up because she was inspired by @coachjunvie Junvie Seares and @Vegan Spartan VL – in them, German saw many possibilities and also wanted to try to discover her own potential.

She recalled that a year ago, she suffered a severe finger injury, almost requiring amputation, and spent half a month in the hospital. At that time, she experienced serious health and emotional problems. As someone who had always been inactive, she never thought she could start a new, brilliant chapter in her life before turning 50.

She hopes her participation in this competition can encourage you, the viewer: by focusing on "what my body can do for me," your perspective will truly change dramatically.

The phrases "After the limit, the beginning" and "CATS MAKE YOU STRONGER CLUB" on the back of the T-shirt are for all participants in physical challenge competitions and all cat slaves preparing to push their limits.

The "Limit CARRY ON" on the front reminds you: no matter the result, being willing to stand up and take another step forward is already something to be proud of.

For every item sold, we donate HK$50 to "Tai O Stray Cat Home" to support their spaying/neutering, medical care, and elder care for old and injured street cats.
